Table Styles · Word, PowerPoint & Excel
One table style, correct in Word, PowerPoint and Excel, even in documents you already had
Table styles are never updated retroactively: a new or changed template doesn't change anything about documents that already exist. The Table Branding Manager solves that in two steps: design a style once for all three programs, and apply that same style, even to documents you already had.
Sound familiar?
- PowerPoint has no editor for table styles. As a result, few templates have them. The default styles aren't pretty, and everyone uses something different
- A table style designed in Word has to be rebuilt from scratch in PowerPoint and Excel
- Templates that have been around for years have tables that no longer match the rest of the brand identity, but nobody dares touch them anymore
- Changing a table style in the template doesn't carry through to documents that already exist
- Excel does have its own table style editor, but it works in a completely different way than the one in Word
One central table style manager for all three programs solves this in one go.
Two editions, one file format
Choose the edition that matches what someone needs to do
Both editions revolve around the same .ksstyle file: the Full edition creates it, either edition can apply it. That way, not everyone who needs to apply a style also has to design one.
Import-only edition
Applying to documents you already had
Applies a ready-made .ksstyle file to existing Word, PowerPoint and Excel documents, even ones that are years old. Especially useful when you're introducing new styles, or want to apply updated styles to existing documents: table styles are never updated based on a changed template.
- Apply a style and set it as default
- No design function: no risk of anyone accidentally breaking the brand identity
- One license for the whole organization, priced per seat with volume discounts
Full edition
Designing styles, and applying them yourself
This is where the .ksstyle file is created: design a table style with fill color, borders, font and cell margins, and use it in Word, PowerPoint and Excel. That file can be made by your own company, by your template builder, or by KeyScript on request.
- Adding, duplicating, editing, renaming and deleting styles
- One editor for Word, PowerPoint and Excel, with 'Replace color' for fast color variants
- One-time purchase per user, with volume discounts for multiple licenses
